PERRYMAN KILLINGS: 'Multiple deaths' in Maryland shooting

The US State of Maryland Local Officials has reported multiple fatalities in a shooting at an aid distribution centre.

The early shooting was said to have happened on Thursday morning in the Perryman area, Harford County, about 40km (25 miles) north-east of Baltimore.

It was gathered that there were also multiple wounded with a man suspected to have been involved in the inferno in security custody, now in critical condition

There were "multiple fatalities" in a shooting at an aid distribution centre in the US state of Maryland, local officials say.

Confirming the incident, the Harford County Sheriff's Office urged residents to avoid the area.

However, it later tweeted that; ‘’we do not believe there is any further threat to the community”

FBI officers were deployed to the scene just minutes after first reports of the shooting emerged at 09:06am local time (16:28 GMT).

The identity of the shooter has not been publicly released, and the motive was not immediately known.
